📝 Preparation

1. For templates, mock-ups and image size requirements, please refer to the Design tab.
2. Print your design and mirror your image.
3. Clean the substrate printing surface using a microfibre cloth or lint brush to remove dust, oils or lint.
4. Place the printed image face up and align the substrate to the centre of the print.
5. Secure the edges using heat-resistant tape to prevent movement.

🛠️ Mug/Tumbler Heat Press Pressing

1. If this is your first press of this size substrate or you have changed inserts, complete a pressure pre-check before heating.
2. Heat the press to the required temperature.
3. Position the substrate inside the element.
4. Press at the listed heat press settings.
5. Rotate and press again at the listed settings to help achieve even coverage.
6. Remove carefully from the press after the timer has finished. The item will be extremely hot.

🛠️ Oven/Air Fryer Baking

1. Heat the oven to the required temperature.
2. Apply heat shrink, heat tape or a suitable silicone clamp.
3. Place the substrate inside the oven.
4. Bake at the listed heat settings.
5. Rotate and press again at the listed settings to help achieve even coverage.
6. Remove carefully from the oven after the timer has finished. The item will be extremely hot.

❄️ Cooling and Assembly

1. Carefully remove the substrate from the press (it will be hot).
2. Peel off the sublimation paper while the substrate is warm for best results.
3. Allow the substrate to cool completely.
4. Remove adhesive cover from tumbler base and apply to the centre of the substrate. (If applicable)
5. Attach lid.
6. Wrap in protective plastic cover and place into packaging.

✅ Tips for Best Results

• Ensure full edge-to-edge coverage in your design to avoid white borders (ensure bleed is sufficient).
• If colours look dull, increase time by 5 seconds or pressure slightly.
• If the coating looks yellowed, your temperature is too high or time too long.
• Store substrate in a clean, dry, dust-free area before printing.
• Screw lid on and pay attention the where the straw will be located, align the main focus point of the print to the this area.
• When taping the seam, tape with high pressure applied to the print ensuring tightness.
• Do not press with lid or base attached.
• Trim heat shrink to not have too much excess overhanging, it is hard to remove.
