How Print Geek shipping works

At Print Geek, we aim to dispatch and deliver orders as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible using Australia Post, StarTrack and selected reliable courier partners.

Order processing

Approximately 96% of orders are dispatched on the same business day when placed during business hours. Orders placed outside business hours, weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

Australia Post & couriers

Orders may be shipped with Australia Post, StarTrack, TNT or equivalent courier partners depending on product type, weight, destination, timeframe and reliability.

Tracking details

Where tracking is available, details are usually sent to the email address used at checkout once the order has been dispatched.

StarTrack address note

StarTrack cannot deliver to a Post Office Box. Please use a valid physical address if your order includes bulky, courier-only or road freight items.

Domestic shipping

Australia-wide delivery

Orders up to 22kg may be shipped via Australia Post Parcel Post or Australia Post Express Post. Orders over 22kg are generally shipped via road courier services such as StarTrack, TNT or equivalent providers.

Orders over 30kg may require tailgate-equipped delivery vehicles, unloading equipment such as a trolley jack, and freight pricing based on postcode, weight and delivery requirements.

Carrier selection We reserve the right to select the most appropriate shipping provider based on delivery timeframe, cost efficiency, reliability, item type and destination.
Delivery estimates Delivery timeframes vary by destination and service type. Timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Heavy or bulky items Printers, machinery, heat presses and oversized cartons may require road freight or specialist handling and may take longer than standard parcels.

Use a street address for courier freight

For bulky or courier-shipped orders, do not use a PO Box. StarTrack and other courier services generally require a physical delivery address.

Import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees are not included in shipping costs and remain the customer’s responsibility.

How shipping costs are calculated

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions and delivery location. We do not profit from shipping charges, however packaging materials and handling time may be included in the final cost.

Some items require additional packaging, freight handling or special carrier options because of size, weight, fragility or delivery destination.

Costs can vary by item type

Small consumables, blank products, printers, heat presses and machinery can all have different shipping requirements. Checkout will calculate available options where possible.

What to do if there is a delivery problem

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or appears lost, please contact us as soon as possible with the correct information so we can review the issue.

Evidence required

Claims must include clear photographs of the damaged item, internal packaging, external packaging and visible labels where relevant.

Claims process

All claims must be reviewed before a replacement or refund can be processed. We may need to lodge a claim with the shipping provider before resolution.

24 Hours

Insurance claim timing

Claims involving shipping insurance must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with supporting photos and documentation.

Fragile items and insurance

Fragile item risk acknowledgement

Certain products sold by Print Geek are classified as fragile. Standard shipping providers, including Australia Post and StarTrack, do not guarantee coverage for fragile items.

We take care to package items appropriately, but customers should consider potential transit risks and purchase optional shipping insurance at checkout where available.

Shipping insurance Optional shipping insurance may be available at checkout and can provide additional protection against loss or damage.
Supporting evidence Insurance claims require supporting evidence, including photos and documentation, and must be lodged within the required timeframe.
Packaging responsibility If damage occurs due to inadequate packaging, we will assess the claim and provide a replacement where appropriate.

If you select Authority to Leave, you accept responsibility once the parcel is delivered to the address or delivery location provided.

Print Geek is not liable for loss, theft or damage after delivery when Authority to Leave has been selected.

If tracking is available, it is usually sent to the email address used at checkout. Check your inbox and spam/junk folder before contacting us.

Do large items take longer?

Large equipment such as printers, heat presses and machinery may require freight or special handling and can take longer than small parcel items.

Can I change my delivery address?

Contact us as soon as possible. Address changes may not be possible once an order has already been packed, booked or dispatched.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Take photos of the packaging and product, keep all packaging material, and contact us with your order number and details as soon as possible.
