Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Introduction

This Warranty applies in addition to any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

This Warranty is intended to explain the scope of any express warranty we provide, the conditions that apply to that warranty, and the exclusions that apply due to the technical nature of DTF printers, printing consumables, and related equipment.

Definitions

For the purpose of this Warranty:

• Consumables include, without limitation, inks, ink bags, cartridges, cleaning liquids, maintenance liquids, powders, films, wiper assemblies, cleaning pads, flushing items, waste bottles, drain tubes, clamps, gloves, cups, caps, and similar items.
• Parts means spare parts or components that form part of a printer or related equipment and may require replacement from time to time.
• Product means any printer, equipment, part, consumable, or related item supplied by Print Geek.
• Print Services means gang sheets, photography printing, transfers, or any print output produced from files supplied by the customer.
• User Manual / Instructions means any installation, operation, maintenance, or support material supplied by us from time to time.

Scope of Warranty

Any express warranty provided by us applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is subject to:

• the specific Product purchased
• the stated warranty period, if any
• correct installation, operation, and maintenance
• compliance with all instructions provided by us
• use of approved parts, inks, consumables, and related materials where required

Warranty coverage is limited by time, usage, and operating conditions, whichever is reached first.

Print Head Warranty Exclusion

Print heads are considered consumable components and are not covered under warranty.

Print head lifespan varies depending on use, maintenance, environmental conditions, storage, inactivity, ink quality, and operating practices.

We are not responsible for:

• clogged or blocked print heads
• nozzle loss or reduced nozzle performance
• head strikes
• physical damage to the print head
• damage caused by improper maintenance
• damage caused by incorrect shutdown procedures
• damage caused by inactivity
• damage caused by improper storage
• damage caused by incorrect or third-party consumables
• damage caused by unsuitable environmental conditions

Replacement of print heads is the responsibility of the customer.

Consumables and Wear Items

Consumables and normal wear items are not covered under warranty unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

This includes, without limitation:

• inks
• films
• powders
• cleaning products
• maintenance liquids
• filters
• dampers
• capping items
• wipers
• flushing components
• waste tanks and related service items

Warranty Conditions

Any warranty provided is strictly conditional on all of the following:

• the Product being installed and operated correctly
• all maintenance procedures being followed
• use of approved or recommended consumables where required
• operation within recommended environmental conditions
• no unauthorised modification, tampering, or misuse
• compliance with all instructions provided by us

Failure to meet these conditions may void any applicable warranty.

Third-Party Equipment Disclaimer

Our inks, films, powders, parts, and related consumables are designed for use within recommended systems and workflows.

We do not guarantee compatibility, results, or performance when our products are used with:

• third-party printers
• modified machines
• non-recommended systems
• unsupported workflows
• unapproved RIP or control configurations
• equipment not supplied or approved by us

We accept no liability for:

• damage to third-party equipment
• incompatibility issues
• poor performance outcomes
• clogging, failure, or reduced life caused by use in non-recommended systems

No Performance Guarantee

We do not guarantee specific print results, output quality, wash durability, adhesion results, curing results, productivity levels, or performance outcomes.

Results depend on many factors outside our control, including:

• user setup
• machine condition
• maintenance standards
• environmental conditions
• substrates used
• pressing conditions
• curing conditions
• artwork supplied
• customer workflow

Failure to achieve desired or expected results is not considered a defect.

Printers and Technical Equipment

Printers and technical equipment must be installed, maintained, and operated correctly.

We are not responsible for faults, issues, or performance problems arising from:

• incorrect setup
• failure to follow instructions
• poor maintenance
• unsuitable operating environment
• improper transport after delivery
• incorrect consumables
• modifications by the customer or third parties
• misuse or neglect

Genuine Epson Printers

Where genuine Epson printers are supplied in standard manufacturer configuration, any manufacturer warranty rights are subject to the terms and limitations of that manufacturer.

Where a product has been modified, converted, altered, or used outside normal manufacturer-intended operation, manufacturer warranty may not apply.

Chinese DTF Printers and Specialised Equipment

Chinese DTF printers and specialised print equipment are technical products intended for informed users operating within recommended conditions.

These products require correct setup, regular maintenance, and appropriate operating practices.

We do not warrant outcomes affected by:

• environmental instability
• lack of maintenance
• inconsistent operation
• incompatible materials
• poor workflow practices
• user inexperience

User Responsibility and Maintenance

DTF equipment requires regular maintenance and proper operation.

You are responsible for:

• following shutdown procedures
• maintaining ink circulation and cleaning routines
• monitoring environmental conditions
• using correct media and consumables
• carrying out routine maintenance
• ensuring the Product is suitable for your intended use

We are not responsible for issues caused by lack of maintenance, lack of use, or improper use.

Print Services Disclaimer

All Print Services are produced exactly as supplied.

We do not check, edit, correct, or optimise artwork unless expressly agreed in writing.

We are not responsible for:

• spelling errors
• grammatical errors
• layout errors
• incorrect sizing
• resolution issues
• poor file quality
• colour expectations
• transparency / background issues
• customer-supplied artwork problems

Printed products are not considered faulty where they match the file supplied by the customer, except where there is a clear production defect.

Colour and Output Variation

Colour, density, brightness, finish, and output may vary depending on file content, substrate, printer condition, ink behaviour, curing, environmental conditions, and workflow.

Minor variations are normal in the printing process and are not defects.

Exclusions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Warranty does not cover:

• consumables
• print heads
• normal wear and tear
• routine maintenance
• cleaning or servicing caused by lack of maintenance
• faults caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or improper handling
• faults caused by non-approved inks, films, powders, parts, or accessories
• faults caused by use with third-party or unsupported equipment
• software, data, or configuration issues not caused directly by a defect in the supplied Product
• business interruption
• loss of income
• loss of profit
• wasted consumables or media
• production downtime

Warranty Claim Procedure

If you wish to make a warranty claim, you must:

• provide proof of purchase
• provide a clear description of the issue
• provide photo and/or video evidence where requested
• provide any other information reasonably required to assess the claim
• stop using the Product if continued use may cause further damage

All warranty claims must be approved by us before any warranty service work is carried out.

We may require the Product, part, or component to be returned for inspection before approving any claim.

Remedies

Where a Product is found to have a defect covered by the Australian Consumer Law or any applicable express warranty, we may provide a remedy in accordance with the law.

For minor failures, we may choose to:

• repair the Product
• replace the Product
• replace the affected part
• supply an equivalent remedy

For major failures, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or the cost of repair or replacement
• we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss
• we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue, business interruption, wasted media, wasted consumables, or loss of production time
• we are not liable for damage arising from use of our consumables or parts in third-party or unsupported systems

Nothing in this Warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
