Download Epson ICC colour profiles for Koala A-SUB Pro sublimation ink, including separate hard-substrate and soft-substrate profiles.
These profiles are intended to help improve colour output when using compatible Epson EcoTank printers with Koala A-SUB Pro sublimation ink.
Use the hard-substrate profile as the standard starting point. The soft-substrate profile may suit fabric or softer products in some cases, but test first.
Koala A-SUB has produced sublimation inks and papers worldwide for many years, and the A-SUB Pro ink range is commonly used by decorators looking for strong value and consistent sublimation output.
Colour results can vary by printer condition, paper, substrate coating, heat press settings, software colour settings and whether colour correction is being handled by Windows, your design software or the printer driver.
These profiles are simplified into one compatible printer group for easier use.
Use this as the standard profile for most sublimation blanks including coated ceramic, metal, MDF, glass, hardboard and other hard sublimation surfaces.
Download Hard Substrate ICC RecommendedThis profile may suit fabric or soft-substrate production in some workflows, but should be tested against your exact product, paper and press settings.
Download Soft Substrate ICC OptionalThe hard-substrate ICC profile should be your standard starting point for most products.
The soft-substrate profile may sometimes give better results on fabric or softer products.
Download the correct ICC profile first and remember where it is saved. Then follow these Windows Colour Management and printer-driver steps.
Use the Windows taskbar search and open Colour Management.
Choose your Epson printer from the device dropdown. Tick Use my settings for this device.

Change the profile selection dropdown to Manual, then click the Add button.

Select Browse, find the downloaded Koala ICC profile on your computer, select the profile and click Add.

Select the ICC profile associated with the printer, click Set as Default Profile, then click Close.

To make sure the printer uses the attached ICC profile, open Printers & Scanners in Windows and select the Epson printer you are using.

Open the printer preferences, go to More Options, choose Custom under colour correction, then click Advanced.

Select ICM as the colour management method and click OK.
