Koala A-SUB Pro ICC Colour Profiles

Epson ICC Profiles for Koala A-SUB Pro Ink

Download Epson ICC colour profiles for Koala A-SUB Pro sublimation ink, including separate hard-substrate and soft-substrate profiles.

These profiles are intended to help improve colour output when using compatible Epson EcoTank printers with Koala A-SUB Pro sublimation ink.

Hard or soft substrate?

Use the hard-substrate profile as the standard starting point. The soft-substrate profile may suit fabric or softer products in some cases, but test first.

  • Hard Substrate is the recommended default profile.
  • Soft Substrate is optional for fabric and softer surfaces.
  • Always test using your actual paper, print settings, press settings and blank.
About Koala A-SUB Pro

Koala A-SUB Pro ink for Epson sublimation printing

Koala A-SUB has produced sublimation inks and papers worldwide for many years, and the A-SUB Pro ink range is commonly used by decorators looking for strong value and consistent sublimation output.

Colour results can vary by printer condition, paper, substrate coating, heat press settings, software colour settings and whether colour correction is being handled by Windows, your design software or the printer driver.

Important: ICC profiles are a colour-management starting point, not a universal guarantee. Use test prints and test presses before production.

Choosing a profile

Which Koala A-SUB Pro profile should I use?

Start with Hard Substrate

The hard-substrate ICC profile should be your standard starting point for most products.

  • Best first choice for most hard sublimation blanks.
  • Suitable for general ET series CMYK workflows.
  • Use consistent printer settings when comparing results.

Use Soft Substrate only when needed

The soft-substrate profile may sometimes give better results on fabric or softer products.

  • Test against your actual fabric or soft blank.
  • Compare pressed results, not just the print on paper.
  • Keep a written record of your best settings.
