📋 5 Slot 20oz Tumbler Press Heat Press Design
Heavy-Duty 5mm Steel Frame Construction
Built using thick, high-grade steel for maximum structural integrity. This provides exceptional rigidity, reduces flex under pressure, and ensures long-term durability in commercial environments.
All-Alloy Heat Plate Design
Manufactured from solid alloy rather than cast iron or mixed metals, allowing for superior heat conductivity, faster heat recovery, and more consistent temperature distribution across the entire platen.
Teflon-Coated Heat Plate Surface
Premium non-stick Teflon coating prevents scorching, reduces residue build-up, and protects garments and substrates while making cleaning fast and easy.
Uniform Pressure & Heat Distribution
The rigid frame combined with the alloy heat plate delivers even pressure and consistent heat from edge to edge, critical for professional sublimation, DTF, HTV, and transfer work.
Thermal Stability & Heat Retention
The alloy platen maintains stable temperatures with minimal fluctuation, improving transfer accuracy and reducing re-pressing or product waste.
📋 Instructions for 5 Slot 20oz Tumbler Press Heat Press
Prepare Your Workspace and Materials
Set up your heat press on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Gather your materials: the substrate (e.g., t-shirt or mug), transfer paper with your printed design, heat-resistant tape, and protective sheets like Teflon or butcher paper. Ensure your design is mirrored if needed for sublimation.
Set Temperature, Time, and Pressure
Plug in your heat press and turn it on. Refer to the product’s recommended settings (found in our user manuals or product descriptions on printgeek.com.au). Typical ranges:Temperature: 180–200°C (356–392°F) for most sublimation items.Time: 30–60 seconds for fabrics; 180–240 seconds for mugs.Pressure: Medium to firm, depending on the material—adjust the knob or lever accordingly.Allow the press to preheat fully (usually 5–10 minutes) until it reaches the set temperature.
Position and Press
Place the substrate on the lower platen. Align your transfer paper face down on the item and secure with tape. Cover with a protective sheet to prevent scorching. Close the press firmly and start the timer. Apply even pressure—avoid opening mid-cycle.
Cool and Finish
Once the timer beeps, carefully lift the press (use heat-resistant gloves). Peel the transfer paper while hot for best results (or cool for certain materials). Let the item cool completely before handling or packaging.
Safety Tips
Always wear protective gloves and avoid touching hot surfaces.Unplug when not in use.For detailed settings per product, check our heat press user manuals at printgeek.com.au/heat-press-user-manuals.If you’re new, practice on scraps to perfect your technique. For high-quality heat presses and supplies, browse our collection at Print Geek Australia.
